Peggy is the story of a woman in her late fifties, 

recently but happily widowed and now free to discover who she 

actually is, who she can trust and what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Most of all it's about learning to love and trust herself before she can love or trust anyone else. Peggy is not a particularly likeable character but there's parts of us all in her, and hopefully she learns from her mistakes.

She came to life on an Arvon Writing Retreat in Devon, among 

fellow aspiring writers - formed from a Diane Arbus photograph and evolving from there.
